Freon-Containing Appliance Disposal Begins April 1

Residents can dump for $10 per appliance

The City of Norwalk has announced that the Norwalk Transfer Station, located at 61 Crescent Street, will accept Freon-Containing Appliances, starting on April 1, 2015.

Freon-Containing Appliances that will be accepted include:

 

 

The fee to dispose all Freon-containing appliances is $10 per appliance.

Residents will only be allowed to dispose of three (3) appliances per day.

Residents must have their Resident/Beach Pass for passenger cars or their Resident Permit for pickups, trucks and vans.
