Playground Dedicated to Sandy Hook Coming to Norwalk

A new playground is coming to Norwalk.  It is one of 26.

Tuesday the Common Council agreed to build a playground at Oyster Shell Park dedicated to 1 of the 26 who lost their lives at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
The playground comes from the Sandy Ground Project -- its goal is to erect 26 playgrounds in the tri-state area in honor of each Sandy Hook victim and Hurricane Sandy victims.  So far, Norwalk is one of 8 chosen cities, and its playground will be dedicated to Allison Wyatt, whose mother reportedly worked at Norwalk Hospital.

Each playground will be 2600 square feet.  The Norwalk dedication will cost $90,000, all coming through donations and sponsorships.
