Fizz, Boom, Read and lots of balloons. Kids watched Angel the Balloon Man during one of South Norwalk Library's interactive programs. The show was part of the Fizz Boom Read Summer Reading Program.
"It's great because it's science themed so we have a lot of different programs connected to that such as this one [Angel the Balloon Man's Amazing Balloon Story Telling Show],said SoNo Library Assistant Christie Sillo.
This year the program incorporates math and science with reading with different performances.
Bianca Brillant, a library assistant at the SoNo Branch said, "It's definitely important to keep them engaged in the summertime because of that long three month break. We want to keep them engaged and reading so they continue to build their reading skills."
The South Norwalk branch and main library will have Fizz, Boom, Read activities thoughout the summer.
